Руслана (full name: Руслана Степановна Лыжичко ) is a Ukrainian singer, songwriter, and producer, born on May 24, 1973. She is best known as the winner of the 2004 Eurovision Song Contest with her hit "Wild Dances" Руслана is also a World Music Awards Award winner and holds the title of People's Artist of Ukraine. Her work spans pop and international rock. Руслана has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Ukrainian culture internationally and is an honorary citizen of Lviv.
