Robert Trujillo is an American musician born in 1964. He is known as a bassist and backing vocalist who has made significant contributions to the development of heavy metal music. Trujillo has been a member of bands such as Suicidal Tendencies , Infectious Grooves , and Black Label Society , and also played in Оззи Осборна band. Since 2003, he has been the permanent bassist for the legendary band Metallica . His bass playing style and stage presence have made him a key figure in the heavy metal genre.
