Rob James is a Canadian singer and songwriter from Winnipeg, Manitoba, born October 30, 1977. He is best known as a former member of the pop group McMaster & James , and as a seventh-place finalist on the 2006 season of Canadian Idol . In 1997, he formed McMaster & James with Luke McMaster, and in 2000, the group released a certified gold album, Canadian Gold , featuring the hits " Love Wins Everytime ", " Thank You ", " I Understand ", and " Sweet Sensation ". The group has opened for stars such as Кристина Агилера and 'N Sync . Rob James has made a significant contribution to the development of Canadian pop music.
