Richie Ramone is an American drummer and songwriter, best known for his time with the legendary punk rock band Ramones. Born in 1957, he joined the group in 1983 and contributed to albums like "Too Tough to Die", "Animal Boy", and "Halfway to Sanity". Notably, he was the only drummer in the band’s history to write and sing lead vocals on several tracks, including "Somebody Put Something in My Drink". His energetic drumming style and songwriting added a fresh dynamic to the band’s sound. Beyond Ramones, he has pursued a solo career, further cementing his influence in punk rock.
