
Randy Meisner (1946–2023) was an American musician, singer, and songwriter. He rose to prominence as a founding member of the Eagles , where he played bass and provided backing vocals, often featuring high harmony. Meisner co-wrote and sang lead vocals on one of the band's most famous songs, "Take It to the Limit" In addition to his work with the Eagles , he also contributed to recordings as a session musician. His contribution to the development of rock music remains significant thanks to his unique vocals and musicianship.
