
Plazma is a Russian music group from Volgograd, founded in 1990. The band works in the genres of synth-pop, Europop, Eurodance, and pop-rock. Plazma was one of the first groups in Russia to perform songs exclusively in English for a Russian-speaking audience. The group achieved widespread popularity thanks to hits such as "Take My Love" and "The Sweetest Surrender" In 2009, Plazma became a finalist in the selection round of the international "Евровидение" Contest. Their work has had a significant influence on the development of English-language pop music in Russia.
