He is a key figure in the global techno scene, particularly known for his minimalist tracks and club sets. Plastikman also owns the Minus label, which has played a significant role in the genre's development. In 2017, he was ranked 80th on DJ Magazine 's list of the world's best DJs. His work has had a significant influence on minimal techno and electronic music in general.
