As a founding member of The Wailers, alongside Bob Marley, he helped bring reggae to international prominence during the 1960s and 1970s. In 1973, he launched a successful solo career, producing iconic tracks like "Legalize It" and "Equal Rights". Known for his activism and sharp lyrics, he won a Grammy for Best Reggae Album.
