Pete Seeger

Pete Seeger (or Пит Сигер ) was an American folk singer and social activist born in 1919 in the United States. He played a key role in the mid-20th-century folk music revival and in the development of protest music. His work included such well-known songs as "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?" , "If I Had a Hammer" and "Turn! Turn! Turn!" . Seeger was also an active advocate for civil rights and environmental causes. His contributions to folk music and social movements made him one of the most influential figures of his time.
