Песочные люди are a Russian rap group from Rostov-on-Don, formed in 1998. The group is part of the hip-hop collective «Объединённая Каста» The original lineup included «Псих» and «Джин» and in 1999, «Дас» joined. In 2004, changes occurred: «Митяй» and «Джин» left the group and were replaced «Жара» The group disbanded in 2012 after the departure of «Жары» Песочные люди made a significant contribution to the development of Russian rap, remaining an important part of the genre in the 2000s.
