Perry Farrell (real name Перец Бернштейн ) is an American singer, born in 1959. He is best known as the frontman of the rock band Jane's Addiction . In 1991, Perry Farrell founded the Lollapalooza festival, which was originally intended as a farewell tour for Jane's Addiction but subsequently became an annual musical event. He also formed the bands Porno for Pyros and Satellite Party . Farrell is also active in the dance music and electronica genres, making a significant contribution to the development of the alternative music scene.
