Pentagon is a South Korean boy band formed in 2016 by Cube Entertainment . The group consists of nine members: Hui, Jinho, Hongseok, Shinwon, Yeo Won, Yan An, Yuto, Kino, and Wooseok. The group was introduced through the reality show " Pentagon - Создание ," produced in collaboration with Mnet . Their debut EP, titled "Pentagon," was released on October 10, 2016. In August 2018, E'Dawn left the group. Pentagon is known for hits such as "Shine" and "Daisy" which solidified their position in the K-pop genre. The group has made a significant contribution to the popularization of Korean pop music on the international stage.
