Paysage D'hiver is a black metal project from Switzerland, founded in 1997. The sole member is Wintherr , also known as Wroth from the band Darkspace . The band's name translates from French as "winter landscape," reflecting the main themes of the band's lyrics: winter, darkness, and out-of-body experiences. Wintherr draws inspiration from Burzum albums Hvis lyset tar oss and Filosofem . All material is released on their own label Kunsthall Produktionen , emphasizing the project's independence and uniqueness.
