Paul Brady is an Irish singer, songwriter, and musician from Strabane, Northern Ireland, born in 1947. His work spans the genres of folk and pop. Early in his career Paul Brady performed Irish traditional music in a duo with Andy Irvine and also collaborated with Tommy Peoples and Matt Molloy . He later transitioned to an electric, rock-inspired style with lyrics that touch on sensitive political issues. Paul Brady has had a significant influence on the development of Irish songwriting and rock music.
