Patrick Leonard (full name: Патрик Рэймонд Леонард ) is an American songwriter, keyboardist, and record producer of French Canadian descent, born March 14, 1956. He is best known for his long-standing collaboration with singer Мадонной , serving as her keyboardist, co-writer, and co-producer. Their collaborations include such hits as "Live to Tell" "La Isla Bonita" and "Like a Prayer" Patrick Leonard has also collaborated with other renowned artists, including Elton John and Leonard Cohen . His contributions to pop music in the 1980s and 1990s made him one of the key producers of his time.
