Panjabi MC , born Rajinder Singh Rai , is a British musician, rapper, producer, and DJ of Punjabi descent, born on February 14, 1973. Working in the genres of oriental and dance music, he rose to prominence with the hit " Mundiah To Bach Ke ," released in 1997, which sold 10 million copies worldwide.
