
Paco de Lucía (born December 21, 1947, in Spain—died February 25, 2014) was a Spanish virtuoso guitarist and one of the most renowned flamenco performers. He played both classical and contemporary flamenco and is considered a pioneer of the "new flamenco" style. Paco de Lucía collaborated with musicians such as Al Di Meola and John McLaughlin , and his albums, including "Entre Dos Aguas" have achieved cult status. His contributions to flamenco and jazz have made him a legend in the music world.
