Оркестр креольского танго was a Russian musical project founded in August 2001 by Andrey Makarevich, the leader of the band «Машина времени» . The group performed traditional jazz, blues, bossa nova, rumba, and chanson, inspired by the American pop-jazz music of the 1950s. Over the course of its existence, Оркестр креольского танго released several albums and performed at various jazz festivals, earning recognition from jazz enthusiasts. The project concluded its activities in 2019, having left a significant mark on the popularization of jazz in Russia.
