OQJAV is a Russian indie pop band from Moscow, founded in 2012 by musicians from Perm and Yekaterinburg. In 2014, the band was awarded the Artemy Troitsky Stepnoy Volk Award in the Debut category. In the fall of 2016, OQJAV was nominated for the MTV Europe Music Awards in the Russian Artist of the Year category. The band is known for its unique sound, which blends elements of indie and pop music, as well as profound lyrics. OQJAV has made a significant contribution to the development of the contemporary Russian indie scene.
