Noreaga , real name Santiago, is an American rapper and television personality born on September 6, 1977, in Queens, New York City. He rose to prominence as one half of the hip-hop duo Capone-N-Noreaga , which he formed in 1995 with fellow rapper Capone . The duo released five studio albums, including "The War Report" which became a cult classic in the East Coast hip-hop genre. After the group's temporary disbandment, Noreaga launched a successful solo career, releasing the album "NORE" , which included the hits "Superthug" and "Banned from TV" His contribution to the development of East Coast rap remains significant.
