
Nolan Porter was an American soul and R&B singer born in 1949 in the United States. In the early 1970s, he recorded two albums and six singles. His best-known song, "Keep On Keeping On" gained popularity in the Northern soul scene. Interestingly, in 1978, Joy Division used the guitar riff from this song for their composition "Interzone" on their debut album Unknown Pleasures . Nolan Porter made a significant contribution to the development of soul music, leaving his mark on musical history.
