Ноль is a Soviet and Russian rock band founded in 1985 in Leningrad. The band was formed by singer and accordionist Фёдором Чистяковым , drummer Алексеем Николаевым , and Анатолием Платоновым . Later, bassist Дмитрий Гусаков and guitarist Георгий Стариков joined the band. The band stood out from other bands of the late 1980s for its use of the accordion as the main lead instrument. Among Ноль well-known songs are "Chelovek i Koshka" (Man and Cat) and "I'm Going, Smoking." Ноль made a significant contribution to the development of Russian rock, combining traditional instruments with a rock sound.
