Noir Désir is a French rock band formed in 1985 in Bordeaux. The band gained recognition for its unique sound and lyrics, which explored social and political themes. In 1990, Noir Désir performed at the Petersburg Sports and Concert Complex alongside the Russian band «Кино» , marking a significant moment in their international career. The band released several successful albums, including "Tostaky" and "666.667 Club" , and their song "Le vent nous portera" became one of their most recognizable. Noir Désir made a significant contribution to the development of French rock, remaining a cult band even after their disbandment in 2010.
