Nine Lashes is an American rock band formed in Birmingham, Alabama, in 2006. They independently released their debut album, "Escape", in 2009. The band gained wider recognition when Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch introduced them to Tooth & Nail Records. After signing with the label, they released their second album, "World We View", on February 14, 2012. The album performed well commercially and charted on Billboard. Known for their alternative rock sound, Nine Lashes has made a notable contribution to the genre with their blend of melodic and hard-hitting tracks.
