Nicolette Larson (1952–1997) was an American singer known for her contributions to rock and adult contemporary music. Born in the United States, she gained prominence in the late 1970s, particularly through her collaboration with Neil Young. Her 1978 hit, a cover of Neil Young's "Lotta Love," reached No. 1 on the Hot Adult Contemporary Tracks chart and No. 8 on the pop singles chart. Larson followed this success with four more adult contemporary hits, two of which also charted modestly in the pop category. Her work remains a notable contribution to the soft rock and adult contemporary genres of her era.
