Nick Drake (full name Николас Родни Дрейк ) was a British singer and songwriter born in 1948. His work was characterized by melancholic compositions with acoustic guitar. In 1968, at the age of 20, he signed a contract with Island Records . Among his best-known albums are "Five Leaves Left" , "Bryter Layter" , and "Pink Moon" .
