Nevermore was an American metal band from Seattle, formed in 1994. The band performed progressive and power metal, distinguished by complex arrangements and powerful vocals. The band released several influential albums, including "Dead Heart in a Dead World" and "This Godless Endeavor" which received critical acclaim. Vocalist Warrel Dane and guitarist Jeff Loomis were key figures in the development of the band's sound. Nevermore made significant contributions to the development of progressive metal, remaining one of the genre's most respected bands until their disbandment in 2017.
