
Надежда Обухова (1886–1961) was a distinguished Russian and Soviet opera singer. Born in Moscow, she became one of the most renowned mezzo-sopranos of her time. Обухова was awarded the title of People's Artist of the USSR and the Order of Lenin, and also became a laureate of the Stalin Prize, first class. Her repertoire included masterpieces of world classics and Russian pop music. Her performances at the Bolshoi Theatre left an indelible mark on the history of opera.
