Myrath is an oriental metal band from Tunisia, founded in 2001. Formed by 13-year-old guitarist Малеком бен Арбия as a cover band, performing death metal and Symphony X compositions, Myrath released a demo, Double Face , in 2005, and in 2006, opened for Роберта Планта and Adagio , where they met future producer Кевином Коудфертом . Their debut album, Hope , received positive reviews and paved the way for the band to play European festivals. Myrath made a significant contribution to the development of progressive metal, adding Eastern influences to the genre.
