Mütiilation is a French black metal band founded in 1991 by Meynakh. Initially a solo project, the band became part of the underground collective «Les Légions Noires» , known for its influence on the French black metal scene. Mütiilation released several iconic albums, including "Vampires of Black Imperial Blood" which received acclaim within the genre's narrow circles. The band was distinguished by its dark atmosphere and lyrics exploring themes of despair and nihilism.
