Mud is a British pop rock band formed in 1968. The band rose to prominence during the glam rock era thanks to their 1973–1974 hits, written by the production duo Никки Чинн and Майк Чепмен . Among their most popular songs are "Tiger Feet" and "Lonely This Christmas" The band disbanded in 1979. Afterward, vocalist Лес Грей toured with Les Gray's Mud , guitarist Робин Стайлс joined The Hollies , and bassist Рэй Дэвис became a successful songwriter. Дэйв Маунт retired from music and went into the insurance business. Mud made a significant contribution to the popularization of glam rock.
