Mr. Worldwide , also known as Pitbull (real name Армандо Кристиан Перес ), is a Cuban-American rapper born in 1981. He began his career in the early 2000s, experimenting with reggaeton, Latin hip hop, and crunk. His debut album, MIAMI , was released in 2004 under TVT Records with production from Lil Jon . In 2009, his album Rebelution brought him international success thanks to the hit single " I Know You Want Me ," which peaked at number two on Billboard Hot 100 Pitbull has had a significant influence on popularizing Latin music in the mainstream.
