Mortal Love is a Norwegian metal band from Elverum, founded in 2000. Their sound combines soprano and tenor vocals, heavy guitars, and piano and synthesizer melodies. The band released three albums, united in a lyrical trilogy about love and failed relationships: "All the Beauty…" , "I Have Lost…" , and "Forever Will Be Gone" . The last album was released on September 22, 2006. Mortal Love ended their activity in 2011, leaving a significant mark on the gothic metal genre.
