Mitch Murder , real name Johan Bengtsson , is a Swedish electronic musician from Stockholm, born September 1, 1980. He is known as one of the artists who popularized the synthwave genre. His first EP, After Hours , was released in 2009, followed by Current Events and Burning Chrome , released on Rosso Corsa Records in 2010 and 2011. Mitch Murder made a significant contribution to the development of retrowave music, inspired by the aesthetics of the 1980s.
