Miss May I is an American metalcore band from Troy, Ohio, formed in 2006. The group signed with Rise Records in 2008 and released their debut album, "Apologies Are for the Weak", while still in high school. The album reached number 76 on the Billboard 200, number 29 on the Top Heatseekers chart, and number 66 on the Top Independent Albums chart. Their track "Forgive and Forget" was featured in the film "Saw VI", and "Apologies Are for the Weak" appeared in the video game "Saints Row: The Third". Miss May I has made a significant impact on the metalcore genre with their dynamic sound.
