Михаил Ножкин is a Soviet and Russian actor, poet, musician, and People's Artist of the RSFSR, born in 1937. He is known as a songwriter and performer, as well as a prominent figure in theater and film. Ножкин wrote the lyrics for many popular songs, including works that became emblematic of their time. His contribution to culture was recognized by the title of honorary citizen of the city of Rzhev and membership in the Writers' Union of Russia.
