Michael Riesman (also known as Майкл Рисман) is an American composer, conductor, and pianist born in 1943. Known for his work in classical and film music, he has been a long-time collaborator with Philip Glass, serving as the music director of the Philip Glass Ensemble. Riesman has contributed to numerous film scores, including his work on "The Hours" and "Koyaanisqatsi". His interpretations of Glass's compositions have been widely acclaimed, and he has also released solo piano renditions of these works.
