Michael Andrews is an American multi-instrumental musician, producer, and soundtrack composer, born November 17, 1967. He is best known for his cover of Tears for Fears song " Mad World ," recorded with Gary Jules for the film Донни Дарко . This version reached number one on the UK Christmas chart in 2003. Michael Andrews is also a founding member of the San Diego soul-jazz group The Greyboy Allstars , where he performs under the pseudonym Elgin Park .
