Matt Skiba (full name: Мэттью Томас Скиба ) is an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist born in 1976. He is best known as the vocalist and guitarist of the punk rock band Alkaline Trio , which he founded in 1996. From 2015 to 2022, Skiba was also the vocalist and guitarist for the pop punk band Blink-182 , replacing Tom DeLonge . During his career, he released numerous albums with both bands, including hits such as "Time to Waste" and "Bored to Death" . Matt Skiba has made significant contributions to the development of punk rock and pop punk.
