Marion Raven (born Marion Ravn ) is a Norwegian pop singer, born on May 25, 1984. She began her musical career as part of the duo M2M , which gained international popularity in the late 1990s and early 2000s. After the duo disbanded, Marion Raven signed with Atlantic Records and released her debut solo album, Here I Am , in 2005. In 2007, she re-released the album as Set Me Free on the indie label Eleven Seven Music . Her second album, Songs from a Blackbird , was released in 2013 in Norway. Marion Raven has made a significant contribution to the development of pop music in her country.
