Mano Negra was a French anarcho-punk rock band founded in 1987 in Paris. Its frontman was Ману Чао , who formed the band with his brother, Antoine. The band existed until 1994–1995 and became known for its unique blend of punk, ska, and Latin American rhythms. Among their most famous songs are "Mala Vida" and "King Kong Five" Mano Negra had a significant influence on the development of the ska and punk rock genres, as well as on the work of many subsequent musicians. Their work continues to be valued for its energy and social message.
