Мальчишник was a Soviet and Russian rap group from Moscow, founded in the spring of 1991 by producer Alexey Adamov. The group became one of the first rap groups in the USSR. The lineup included Andrey Lysikov ( Дельфин ), Pavel Galkin, and Andrey Kotov, who was temporarily replaced by Oleg Bashkatov in the summer of 1992. Дельфин wrote the lyrics, and Мутабор composed the music. The group is known for its provocative lyrics and its contribution to the development of Russian rap, becoming a pioneer of the genre in the post-Soviet space.
