Makano , born Hernán Enrique Jiménez Pino, is a Panamanian singer born on May 7, 1983. He began his musical career at the age of 12 as a member of the reggaeton group Los Makanos . His stage name derives from the group's promise that the first member to record a full-length album would bear his name. Makano gained popularity for his romantic reggaeton and pop songs. His most famous hits include "Te Amo" and "Déjame Entrar" Makano has significantly contributed to the development of romantic reggaeton in Latin America.
