Lynden David Hall was an English singer, songwriter, arranger, and record producer born in 1974 in the United Kingdom. He rose to prominence in the late 1990s as part of the neo-soul movement. His debut album Medicine 4 My Pain , and the singles "Do I Have the Right" and "Sexy Cinderella" gained popularity among soul fans. In 1999, he became the first British artist to be voted "Best Male Artist" by the readers of Blues & Soul magazine. Diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2003, he died in 2006. Lynden David Hall left a significant mark on the soul genre.
