
Luna Sea was a Japanese rock band formed in 1989 in Kanagawa Prefecture. They were among the pioneers of the visual kei genre, which combines elements of glam rock and Japanese pop. During their career, Luna Sea released ten albums, many of which received acclaim both in Japan and abroad. The band disbanded in 2000, leaving a significant mark on the history of Japanese rock music. Their work influenced the development visual kei and inspired many followers.
