Los Del Rio is a Spanish musical duo consisting of Antonio Romero Monje and Rafael Ruiz Perdigones. Hailing from the Dos Hermanas neighborhood of Seville, they began their career together in the early 1960s. They are best known for their hit "Macarena" which became a global phenomenon in the 1990s, topping the charts in dozens of countries. Their music combines elements of Latin American music and pop, making them popular both in Spain and abroad. Los Del Rio have made a significant contribution to the popularization of Spanish-language music on the international stage.
