Lord Huron is an American indie-folk band formed in Los Angeles in 2010. The group, led by Ben Schneider, takes its name from Lake Huron, where Schneider spent his childhood evenings playing music by the fire. Their debut album, "Lonesome Dreams", was released in 2012 under the Iamsound label in the U.S., followed by releases in the UK and Ireland in 2013. The band gained wider recognition after performing "Ends of the Earth" on a late-night talk show. Subsequent albums include "Strange Trails" (2015), "Vide Noir" (2018), and "Long Lost" (2021), showcasing their evolution in the indie genre.
