Lonnie Mack (born 1941, USA) was an American musician known for his work in the rock and blues genres. His career began in the 1960s with the instrumental hit "Memphis" which became one of the first recordings to combine elements of blues and rock 'n' roll. Lonnie Mack is also known for his unique guitar style, which has influenced many subsequent musicians. His album "Strike Like Lightning" (1985) received critical acclaim.
