Lita Ford (full name: Кармелита Розанна Форд ) is an English-born American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. She was born on September 19, 1958. She began her career as the lead guitarist in the rock band The Runaways and later achieved widespread fame through her solo work in the heavy metal and hard rock genres. She is best known for hits such as "Kiss Me Deadly" and her duet with Ozzy Osbourne , "Close My Eyes Forever" Lita Ford made a significant contribution to the development of female rock and heavy metal, becoming one of the first female guitarists to achieve success in these genres.
