Lisa Mitchell is an Australian singer and songwriter, born on March 22, 1990, in Albury, New South Wales. She began her career competing on Australian Idol in 2006, finishing sixth. Her debut EP Said One to the Other , topped iTunes in Australia, leading to a record deal with Little Victories , a subsidiary of Sony/ATV . In 2009, her debut album, Wonder , peaked at number six on the ARIA Charts and earned her an Australian Music Award. Lisa Mitchell has made a significant contribution to the development of indie pop, combining melody and lyricism in her work.
